    About This Item

    The Champro Sports SAF‐T‐SOFT is a baseball that is softer than a standard hardball, yet is still the same size & weight (9″ 5 oz). It's intended for very young players participating in beginning level leagues of play such as "t‐ball" or machine pitch.
    • Level 1 Reduced Impact Baseball (RIF) is "spongier" and softer than typical baseballs. Level 1 is the rating established by the manufacturer out of 5 with 1 being the softest & 5 the firmest. The SAF‐T‐SOFT is available in Levels 1, 3 or 5.
    • Solid foam rubber core. Durahide synthetic cover.
    • Please Note: RIF baseballs are intended to reduce the possibility of severe impact injuries. Nevertheless, these type of injuries are still possible. Parental supervision, and protective gear, such as batting helmets, are still recommended when in use.
