Wrestling Moves, John Smith Head Inside Leg Defence
Posted November 18, 2009 by Curt ClapierCloseToday's Match of the day is not actually a match, but rather a move or technique of the day.
I found this on Flowrestling today and it I thought that it was a great wrestling move technique so I made it the wrestling match of the day. Watch the video and try it out in the room today. I know I'm going to teach it to some of my wrestlers today.

East Kentucky Middle School Wrestling Program looking for events/ideas
Posted November 07, 2009 by Frank RileyWe are a middle school program trying to develop in Eastern Kentucky. We are looking for events for our youth wrestlers to compete in that are:Close
- Regional: within 100 or so miles of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
- Cost effective: We are not likely to be able to field fifteen wrestlers this season. Our budget is limited and there are a few events in our district and regional that will be mandatory to rank our wrestlers.
- Small program development We are primarily looking for events to be hosted by similar programs that will encourage smaller programs to compete.
- Individual/aggregrate entry fee One idea is an event that would allow individual wrestlers to compete with a nominal entry fee, cast the individuals into groups with their own teammates and another incomplete team or two for team scoring recognition, with or without "team trophies or awards" to the unofficial teams.
