    Mental Practive Due Wednesday 1/14

Posted about 7 hours ago by Jean Boen in KVBC 16 Blue
Remember to do your mental practice this week girls!!!

You need to send in 1 sentence to 1 paragraph answering the question:
"What does your subconcious do for you during a game? Is it positive and encouraging, or negative? If it's negative...how will you overcome this?"

Remember...we do mental practices to help us think positively during a game!! :) See you Sunday....ready to go at 1pm!! :)

    MAKING IT WORK

The best way for this weplay group to work is for all of the members to click on every other member on the roster, and add them as a friend. Then we'll all be "webbed" together, and you can communicate with all of our team, not just the administrators.

Thanks to all of you who have created your own profile. Don't hesitate to fill out your profile and let everyone know who you are.

There will be a free Maine Games T-shirt awarded at the next practice to the first player who uploads a photo of themselves to get the ball rolling. Another T-shirt will go to the player who fills out their profile at their own page.

Great start to the 2009 season!

Great first practice on Sunday, ladies. I'm very grateful to the team for working hard and paying attention.

In addition to having some distinct talent on the court, I'm sensing that this will also be very coachable team. That makes Coach Boyle and my job that much easier.

Don't forget that team uniform and other apparel orders are due on Sunday, January 11, at SMCC before our practice at 6 p.m.

Also, please remember that on time for practice is 5:45 so you can start stretching and getting loose for practice, so we can start right away and not waste any time.

Bring your T-shirts that you put your names on last time, so we can all learn who is who. I'm horrible with names usually, so having your name on the front and back helps a lot.

Team news: We've lost one of our setters for this year. Rachel Stein, of Falmouth, has decided to not play this year. We wish her well.

In related news, we have apparently picked up a new setter, and she'll be at practice on Sunday, January 11. I don't think we will have much to change with this addition, and I'm looking forward to introducing the new player at practice.

There is no reason to be shy on this weplay site. I'm anxiously waiting for our first discussion or posting by one of our players or their parents.

Also, if you have a photo of yourself feel free to post that as well.
