Having fun and instilling a love for the game is the most important thing for a young soccer player and should be the constant goal for youth soccer coaches. Make soccer drills fun in any way possible, whether it be pretending to be a character or whatever it takes so youth soccer players develop their soccer skills but also enjoy playing the game.
