Before you begin practicing these cheerleading skills and drills, a few reminders:
Make cheerleading safety a priority.
Practice cheerleading on appropriate surfaces gravel, concrete, tile, hard packed dirt are not appropriate.
Warm up your body parts with walking and stretching. Use spotters when learning new material.
Be aware of the environment: walk the area looking for rocks, broken glass, ants or bees.
Practice cheerleading only when supervised by an adult.
