Sasha Vujacic's Shot Fake Drill

By: PlaySportsTV Basketball over 4 years ago

Los Angeles Laker, Sasha Vujacic demonstrates one of his favorite basketball drills, the shot fake. The keys to remember are, keep your eyes towards the basket, not on your defender, raise the basketball a little bit to shake off the defender and then go in for your shot. You must remember to keep your balance and not fade out in order to make the basket in this basketball drill.

If you can get your man off the ground, you will either get an open shot or force a double team, leaving a teammate open. A good shot fake is key to getting easy buckets. You may also want to mix more movement in your neck, head and legs.
