The Yankees will still have a better winning percentage and still be ahead by half a game.I've never heard of the loser going home in any other sport... and I have never been part of anything like this... Am I wrong???Maybe a team like the Yankees, OR YOUR TEAM NEXT YEAR, at least deserve a playoff game with any team that is behind them in the wild card standings that makes the playoffs... and the winner of that game goes to the playoff.Maybe there should only be an East and West Division... and the top three from each division goes to the playoffs... This would at least reduce the chance even more of a BETTER TEAM NOT making the playoffs....What do you think???I think... MLB Gotta do something!!!

And One Last Thing... The wild Card Team has made it to the world series 6 times in the last 11 years... and WON the world championship TWICE...
