    Alyssa asked:

Should a goalkeeper be given a red or yellow card if they go for a ball and they knock over people?

    Ron’s answer:

I have only seen a GK get a yellow card in my children's time on soccer teams (10 years) and he should have gotten a Red as he went after an attacker and intentionally took him out without the ball being around him, had already been kicked to the goal.

    1. I'm talking about if they are going for the ball and if the knock a person over.

    2. That really depends on the situation and it would be a judgement call by the ref. If it is intentional then they would probably get one but the benefit of the doubt would probably go to the keeper.

    Scott Erickson asked:

Wondering what your thought are on a team playing up one age group? This would increase the size of the field and # of players.

    Ron’s answer:

This is a big decision if it is just one team going from 6v6 or if the whole league goes to 8 v 8. If the whole team is good enough to compete and they can handle going to larger field and more players then go for it. May be a good idea to try going ... Continue reading »

    Adam Kowalyk asked:

I have a parent who is not getting the email notifications about upcoming practices or events. How can we fix this?

    Ron’s answer:

Theymay have blocked weplay as junk email. If they have never gotten any from the system then that would be the most likely reason. They need to add weplay to their safe senders list, it may be blocked at the server level as well.

    Joe Lano asked:

What is the distance and speed a pitching machine should be set at for children playing thier first year after tee ball?

    Ron’s answer:

We set ours at 36 - 38 MPH, single wheel jug at the standard Little League distance (set the machine on the mound or where it would be on our skinned field). This speed allows them to hit and concentrate. Problem becomes when they move up to kid pitc... Continue reading »

    Bucki Jondreau asked:

In minor league baseball how has your league adjusted to the continuous batting order?

    Ron’s answer:

We have used the continuous batting order for years and it works great as all the players get to bat. They must play at least everyother inning on defense and no player can sit two consecutive innings defensively.

    5T & T-ball everybody bats and t... Continue reading »
