The intentions to put down in words how Saturday's scrimmage was I had nearly forgotten.

But then I decided to better start working on WEPlay a bit more as it appears only good can come from it. Had an interesting conversation with one of our players who also coaches 2 age groups and Travel teams.

Now to the game - having been absent for about 2 month and certainly had not made any attempts to get in better shape, I was slightly "scared" to be on the field.

But it was a nice 85 F, body did not ache as in cold days, and even my lungs held up for nearly 2/3rds. of the game and my first touch on the ball resulted in a goal.

3 more followed and my playing buddies just couldn't get over it.

So, that's what the headline says: Volltreffer - it was a hit!

And the socializing after the game and making plans for the upcoming soccer games on TV, Champions League Final, FA Cup Final in which I dare to say That I can see Everton upsets Chelsea 2:1!
