    Cheryl Barlow asked:

How long should an 11 year old pitcher warm up before a game????

    sdkhfi’s answer:

It just all depends on how long it takes her to loosen her arm. When she is warming up she should start feeling more and more loose and when she does thats when she stops.

    Kaitlyn Sullivan asked:

What is the best way to get use to a heaveyer bat?

    sdkhfi’s answer:

Until she gets used to using it she should only use it in practices and then when she feels comfortable enough using it, then she should start using it in games.

    Gabby Farrell asked:

i have a Louisville Slugger for fast pich. what r ather good bats

    sdkhfi’s answer:

In my opinion you can get a stealth or you should get a rocketech. I own both kinds of bats and they have so much pop in them or you could also try a Demarini, those have just as much pop and all 3 are great bats!

    Erlinda Martinez asked:

Is it better to make the team stretch prior to their warm-up throws to reduce any pulled muscles??

    sdkhfi’s answer:

Yes it is because if they pull a muscle they could come back to you and blame it on you for not making them stretch. My coach always makes us stretch before a game so we dont pull anything.

    1. Current research indicates a change in the static stretching philosophy. Many exercise physiologists are recommending dynamic stretching in its place. I've been teaching physical education for 35 years and coaching volleyball for 20 and have never had an athlete injured due to improper or no stretching.
