It's been an eye opening experience playing for the Pythons. My son hasn't grown in basketball the way he should have on this team. The same mistakes he was making in the first game, he is still making in the last game. You would have thought those mistakes would have been addressed but I guess there is not enough practice time to address every players fault in their game.

Basketball is most definitely a team sport as I mentioned earlier, but each team member has a special basketball talent. We should try to tap into that special talent so we can get the best results from that individual, which in turn would turn out favorable for the team.

Basketball is a TEAM game, with TEAM effort. Starting with the team members, to the coaches, to the parents, we all have to be on the same page, if we are not then the game suffers and you have a lot of disgruntled TEAM members.

Saturday's game was a heart breaker. Defense does win games, but execution sustains a lead. Our team was winning throughout the game, but the last few minutes, our team could not execute on breaking the press.
