About me – Founder: Of Sun Valley Sports Co Senior Pastor Record (40-9) Best known for the the Southern Kentucky Bearcats AAU Organization was started in Louisville, Kentucky; November 14,2005 with the Southern Kentucky Bearcats. Team became known for furious defense. Team won 2005 Kentucky BCI National Championship Runner-up with a record of (26-7) later that year. Rev. Burnett teaches self- disciple, respect for others, and love for your craft. Currently. Rev. Burnett is developing a new venture as he works with Rev.C.D Butler and Rev. B. Laster of the Higher Ground Christian Church in Birmingham, Alabama. As he develops this new team with the same goals in mind, an even greater emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship. Putting God in the driver seat of every vehicle you drive; you can never fail. God is Success and God is the only way. Rev. Burnett will help the youth to deliver the skill to be service-minded men and women for tomorrow on and off the basketball court. Birmingham Longhorns Basketball will more than a hobby; it will be a lifestyle to display to the world. On June 20, 2009, Higher Ground Christian Church will host the official signing day for the youth to join this wonderful institution of basketball.
