    Tammy Leavitt asked:

Does there exist a Rule Book, or Code of Ethics, or ANYTHING that a youth football league is required to follow?

    www.pennhillsflagfootball.com’s answer:

First of all, do you actually have a copy of the rules, or the code of conduct for the particular league your referring to? Secondly you need to find out where it states anything about "removal from the league", since I've only heard about a player be... Continue reading »

    www.pennhillsflagfootball.com’s answer:

Yes, Yes, and Yes. Each organization has to have a code of ethics, parent policy, and a list of the rules. I'm quite sure if you actually ask for them, you should be able to get them.

    1. And what if the league does not follow these rules. For instance, the rules say a child may be removed from all or part of the next game, for violating the "Code of Conduct." Mine was suspended by his coach for a week of practice and the next game for his first offense, and "The Board" felt that wasn't enough, and voted him off the team completely. This did him extreme harm, and I need them to see that they cannot be doing this to kids, and their families. My son is 10, and had never played before. I am still in shock. I can not find any thing that governs these boards, or states rules that they must follow. It seems that they can do whatever they want, and I think my son was a better running back than the lady on the board who took it for a vote. Please help.

    Sean Rausa asked:

How to keep morale up w/ 7-9 years olds when we are losing every game so far? This is the 1st year for my kids, others teams are veterans.

    www.pennhillsflagfootball.com’s answer:

That's a really tough answer, but you have to focus on the positive things that have happened for your team so far. Make them understand that they should be having fun while learning and playing the game of football, and do something with them at the ... Continue reading »
