When our editorial team met last week... well, let's be honest, I'm a team of one ... the goal was to figure how to launch weplay's first Sports Hub.

The idea for an online hub is creating the definitive place to celebrate a particular sport. It's photos, videos, news, blogs, discussions, contests and frankly whatever else you want it to be. That's the key... you!

As I cruised the site and read member feedback, it was clear that softball was one of our fastest-groing communities, if not the fastest, here on weplay. That's why I was so excited to announce that "the team" selected softball as our first Sports Hub. We've rolled it out, but now it's up to you and your friends to make it your own!

There are two ways to get involved.

1. Create and share. Simply put... the Softball Hub needs your content. Upload your softball photos, start your team, blog about your games, invite your friends ... do whatever you want to do on your profile or groups. You create it and we'll help share your site with the world. Just post a link to the media or blog in the Softball Hub Dicsussion Board so we can check it out.

2. Pitch in. We're also looking for a few super passionate softballers to be Community Leaders. You'll be the public face of the hub, keeping discussions on track, highlighting content and helping recruit new members. Let us know if this sounds like something you'd be interested in.
