Coach Mike Ketchel July 4th, 2012. Chillin' and resting up from a killer weekend down the San Diego as I accompanied son John to the Phenom Top 150 National Camp 6/28-7/1. Tough camp for the players, and, as I found, tough on the coaches. Phenom America president Joe Keller and camps director Dave Taylor, lured me out of my forced "retirement" due to my stroke plus renal failure 7 months ago, and asked that I help coach this year's 10th -11th grade boys. Coach Mike Ketchel We just got back from Fresno City College, where Coach Ed Madec demonstrated his teaching of the Dribble-Drive offense with his men's team at his annual clinic for HS and college coaches. Three of our best guards, Adidas Jr Phenoms John Ketchel and Adam Saleh, and future Phenom Scotty Hardesty, came along to learn the Dribble-Drive from a coaching perspective, and learn it from one of the best college coaches in the game today - Ed Madec.

Coach Mike Ketchel Wow - a long hiatus from WePlay! What a crazy year! We've curtailed our team practices since our boys just started CYO play and will soon start school team play. The Titans will regroup in the winter-spring after both wrap, and may come together for exhibition scrimmages at some college games.

Coach Mike Ketchel Tough loss to arch rival Berkeley Magic today 28-30. Not our usual point production, as our key players had an off day. It happens. The game could have gone either way - it just didn't go our way today. But, all played with all they had to give. As a coach, I can't ask for more.
