The great thing about baseball is that when you take the field, everybody plays by the same rules. It is much more fair than real life.
Everybody struggles when they get promoted to the big field. Do your best to stay ready.

Be careful with weighted balls, they can cause injury. Many years ago the Mets had an Outfielder named Mookie Wilson (he hit the ball thru Bill Buckners legs to win the World Series in 1986) who hurt his arm because he was practicing with wet baseball... Continue reading »

Who is your favorite baseball team
The 27 time World Champion New York Yankees! My son and I got up at 3am last year, drove to Time Square and took the number 1 train to Battery Park to watch the parade down the Canyon of heros. It was on of the most awesome days we have ever had!

YANKEES! If the Dodgers were any good, they could have survived in Brooklyn, but they couldn't cut it on Baseball's biggest stage, NYC.
As Sinatra said: "if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere! New York, New York!"

Have pitchers ever been told by an umpire not to wear a white batting glove under their mitt?
Many leagues prohit a pitcher from wearing anything white that is not part of the uniform (for example white undersleves are prohibited). There are also other rules like prohiting glove strings that are too long, distracting jewelry etc.
