    Carrie Campbell asked:

if you have a varsity volleyball coach who picks favorites and that no one likes, is there any way to get a new coach?

    Rachel Babon asked:

How do i strengthen my overhand serve? its o.k. now but for me, its impossible to do it without my fist closed... HELP!!!

    Ken’s answer:

You can also start your new technique at the 10 foot line and as you make it over 5 times take one step back. Keep doing this until you get yourself back to the serving line. This may take awhile so do not get upset if you don't get it on the first t... Continue reading »

If you are still having problems with this issue I will share a tip I picked up from another coach. Video tape the players and show them the video. When the players see themselves they understand how they look and self-correct. This works will most ... Continue reading »

    Sandy Mathiesen Wilkie asked:

Hello, wanting to start a Mommy and Me Volleyball group of 3 and 4 year olds. Any sugguestions on drill and activities to do?

    Ken’s answer:

They make a training volleyball for that age child. It is larger and like a beach ball but it is a volleyball. I would not use anything heavier because their bones are still growing and you can cause great damage. Please be careful.

    1. Thanks for your response. I tend to agree. Some hard decisions are in the very near future for a 14 year old who loves both.

    2. Please keep in mind that your daughter made the JV team as a freshman. That means she must be pretty good at volleyball. The larger the school the more that means. Good luck!
