My son started football camp today at a new school. We didnt relocate its just there is a bigger school 12 miles from us. He has been attending a school with about 12 to 15 kids in his class. Now his class size will about around 100. My wife works at the school and also attended the same smaller school. She is against the idea of sending him to a bigger school. The smaller has no actvities or even athletic programs to participate in. Our son has been an athlete all his young life and wants to continue to play sports. While it isnt just about the sports there is also band and other electives. My argument with my wife is she doesnt want him exposed to the things of a bigger school like drugs, sex,violence. THe school he attended last is a small country school. HIs mother also was right there every day and seen him at lunch everyday. I think the right choice was made and hell be a better person for the more challenging curriculum and the electives hell recieve.
