John Myers gave Big Heart props to the Team Titans.

“The Titans took 2nd this weekend in Katy! Lost by 2 runs, 9-7, in the championship game to a very good team from College Station. It was a great game and The "Twelfth" (man?) is a classy organisation with good coaches and great kids. It's a shame we are going to have to pound them next time we see'em!”

“I want to congratulate our players who have been working hard this winter. Due to the fact that we are not a full team they have gotten a lot of work and made great developmental improvements. I realize that those of you not at practices have very good reasons, and we completely understand, but I want you to know how hard your teammates have been working and I think you will all be very impressed, and happy, with the improvements your teammates have made. They also have been having a lot of fun (we have been having hitting & fielding contests), which I believe is a necessity for success in this often humbling "game". We all need to remember that baseball is a fun game, and of course winning baseball games is even more fun. So, we can't wait until we are all together as a team. The improvements I have witnessed, even since our first tourney championship, lead me to believe we can go a long way and do something really special next year.
