Meredith Cassell to Joe Gabbard (Dad) Hi there, I read Joey's note last night and it made me feel wonderful. It takes a lot of courage to write an appology note. I will personally thank him at practice tomorrow. I waited till after practice to read it and didn't want you to think I didn't take the time to read or respond.
I plan to work on field positioning tomorrow and will take extra time to help Joey if I think he is lost. He picked up on how to properly mark players yesterday after some explaining. It was great to see his improvement especially since he was marking Lane, who is significantly bigger than he is. It was also great to see him steal the ball from Lane yesterday as well. Joey is fearless. See you at practice wed.
