Its been a week or so since I've posted anything. We had our 1st game this past Saturday and boy was it a good one. The day started out cold and stayed that way. We met @ the tennis courts and handed out uniforms and got loosened up and ready for first game. We looked good in our uniforms , I may be bias , but Our team looked the best of any of the teams I seen . The game was a close one, but we could have easily scored 3 or more runs on them ,Carson Burns came up with the games only hits (2) and some really needed R.B.I.'s , way to go Carson.
Our pitching really looked good, I was very proud of Dylan, Will and jonathan.
JONATHAN HARMON WAS THE BASERUNNING CHAMPION with will tinsley seth and dylan making a good showing.
We had practice this Monday since our game was cancelled and worked on alot of baserunning, since thats where we needed the most work. We had 9 players show up 4 practice today.

We had our 1st official practice of the 2009 season on monday and we had everyone show up. No lights on field so practice was cut really short . Everyone didn't get a chance to hit or run and that was due to time. Glad everyone made it to practice .

HAD THREE PLAYERS GETTING SOME HITTING FIELDING AND PITCHING PRACTICE IN, LOTS OF KIDS DOING THEIR SPRING BREAK THANG. SATURDAYS PRACTICE HAD A BETTER SHOWING (8) TOTAL PLAYERS . sTARTED OUT PRACTICE WITH A "CHIP CHALLENGE", THEIR WERE 3 TEAMS ; TWO TEAMS OF (3) AND ONE TEAM OF (2), each team was given a garbage bag and 1st team to fill it up with trash from college baseball field won the challenge.THE WNNING TEAM WAS CARSON'S TEAM. This was our 1st practice where the kid pitchers pitched to a live hitter, it went well . Eric got sick and scared everyone, hope that gets better for Eric... Looking forward to 1st OFFICIAL practice of the season MONDAY.

Practice went good today , we had alot of kids out due to spring break.
We worked on our conditioning , fielding ground balls and making GOOD throws to 1st , FLY balls and last but not LEAST hitting. Looking forward to Saturday's practice should be warm enough for us to all BREAK A SWEAT.

Good practice today overall, 2hrs + , i know i got a workout. We introduced the "CHIP CHALLENGE" and worked on hitting , pitching and some throwing drills .
Next practice is this Monday, , i watched the weather and it looks good for practicing next week. I know some kids will be out of town on SPRING BREAK.
