I am a first time coach for a middle/high school team. Can any one help me get started as a coach with some direction?

    Frank’s answer:

Coach Balasco Gave us a great answer. Very to the point. Finding a good asst. doesn't hurt either. A knowledgeable ex-player helps. I wish you a lot of luck(hard work and time put in.)

    Sarah Kovall asked:

How do you deal with a coach that will play his own daughter in a position over a girl that has more talent at the same position?

    Frank’s answer:

All of you have very good valid points. Fair and knowledgeable coaching is a plus and a must. Equal time spent at all positions is key in the younger age groups. Obviously all good players with parents involved. This can be a good thing. THANKS.
