    well you just have to start trying them! if you sit in your split- and i mean as far as you can go without pain- for about 5 minutes each leg each day you will begin to see results ;)

    1. with all due respect you actually want pain....that meanse your doing it correctly....but not like realllllly intense pain because you dont want to hurt yourself :)

    2. yeah, i understand what you mean. I do ballet and I have had my splits for a while. But, as my instructors say, you should feel a lot of tension, not pain. Cause pain causes injuries such as muscle strains.

    i'm not quite sure how to answer this, but i would say maybe and then maybe not... perhaps the things you were messing up on were possibly things the coach thought you should have mastered before getting on the team. If they see you messing up on these... Continue reading »
