Softball father of two, Danny Jones, loves the game and loves coaching.  He and his wife have coached softball for years at the elementary level and recently started coaching recreation league ball.  His two daughters, Sydney and Allie, played for his team this past year, representing the 10 and under Alleghany Lady Pink Panthers.



Coach Jones originally created a Weplay group to share softball skill and drill videos with the Lady Pink Panthers to help master the basics.  He mentioned that he was instantly hooked and started using it to organize his team schedule.  The game and practice map feature has also been popular with parents.

The Lady Pink Panthers wrapped up their first recreation season with heart and determination last month.  Coach Jones praised his team, writing, "Everyone should be proud of their performances and improvements!"  He also encouraged his players to continue practicing in the off-season and to be self-motivated in working on skills and drills.

Coach Jones said he is blessed to be apart of an athletic family that enjoys playing sports all year long.  He had great things to say about Weplay and is sure to continue using it to organize his future teams.
