If you can't get a pitching machine, how about using the coaches to pitch to the kids? Most of the leagues in our area have coaches pitch.

Make sure you get some girls that get on base a lot at the bottom of the lineup. The top of the lineup with have opportunities to hit them in.

It mostly depends on how efficient your mechanics are, if you properly condition for the activity, and if you get enough rest for recovery for the workload.

You need to build a good solid base of strength in your core area, your back, and especially your shoulders. And I'm not talking about getting into the weight room and pumping a bunch of iron. Simple body weight exercises that will help.

End of summer. A lot ask players from existing teams to join. Do you have a particular team or league you are interested in? I would contact the coaches now to find out more about the process in your area.
