About me – Hi im mona. I love soccer. its all i breath and do. one day i hope to get to the highest level possible and im willign to work hard to reach my goal. I've always ben a WNT fan, even before i started watching WNT intensly. When the WNT played in the 2004 athens olympics, i thought i was going to be bored out of my mind before i watched it...there were no commercials, no nothing. i ended up staying still on the floor, staring at the television, and i watched abby wambach (who was a sumwat "new player" at the time) score the goal in over time for the US, leading to an olypic GOLD medal. Her name was stuck in my head forever, along with the hair keira knightly had in "Bend it Like Beckham". The attention of soccer caught my eye two years later in 06 when i heard Julie Foudy was going to have a camp located in central jersey. this meant i could show off what i got and stuff like that. One year later, my father was watching ESPN (which is something he normally doesnt do) and BOOM, the national team in the world cup, playing against china. aka AMAZING GAME. . . This was the first time isaw a lot of players (because i wasnt into the whole WNT thing back in the day). I remember seeing lori chalupny and i remembered her name, mainly because her hair (one braid) reminded me of my old ballet teacher whom i hated (no offense lori =] ). i also rememberd hope solo because it was raining, and the ball slipped over her hands into the goal. i remember abby wambach getting hurt and when she was off for 10 minutes, the score went from 1-0 to 1-2 (us to china)...amazing game....us won =]....in the future, i plan on playing for the NJ wildcats, SBFC, and or the WNT. if i cannot obtain my goals, i want to be a photographer =] that way, i will always be involved with Women's soccer

Dream job – Women's Professional Soccer player on WPS or WNT

Superstition – i never NEVER listen to music before a game. It messes with my focuss
