Back in the Flow of Things

Greetings again, my friends. Guess who's back with a brand new edition... It is December already and time is sure flying by these days down here in S.A... First off, I had a great Thanksgiving with my family and hope all of yours was just as good.
So on to some business... crazy to think that our season is already something like 20 games old. I feel like we haven't even really started to play yet. It's always good to get off to a fast start, but sometimes that doesn't happen and you can't let it ruin your entire season. Sometimes there are injuries or new teammates and things take a little while.
I did want to thank everyone who posted comments and sent notes both after the 55 point game a few weeks back and then again when I got hurt. I'll tell you this... Injuries are no fun, especially when it's early on and you are trying to get off to a good start. I never really had any serious injuries growing up, but I can tell you from experience that when I have been injured, it's important to rest as much as you can so you can make a full recovery. Listen to the doctors and coaches and never try to rush anything or come back too soon.
As for the 55 point game, well yes of course that was pretty fun. I had scored 38 before, but scoring 55 in an NBA game and getting a win was one of the highlights of my professional career. It would not have been nearly as nice had we lost.
The good news is that we're starting to come together again now, which is good news. When things do start slow you just have to stay focused on playing good basketball with solid defense and offensively make good decisions passing and shooting.
Tonight we try and keep it going and go for three straight wins in Dallas. Got a plane to catch... running late!
Best,
