    1. Shannon, you put that beautifully, I couldn't have said it better myself. I love all of the aspects of cheerleading, the cheers and motions, the stunts, the tumbling, the dancing and definatly the competiting. I love the look in the cheerleader's eyes when they fly for the first time or catch for the first time, or when a stunt that they have been working so hard on hits. I have been coaching for going on my 7th pop warner season and I was scared the first year but I am so hooked! I can't immagine not coaching these girls. Next year I will be at PeeWee level and the girls will be from 10 to 12 They are great kids and they are excited for the next season.
      Cheerleading is an awesome sport!!!

How can I make stretching my girls in gymnastics fun?

    Shannon’s answer:

yes, I agree with Larissa. I do the same thing with my team. They sing the words to the songs while stretching before cheerleading practice. Works like a charm!

    Reylene Abbott asked:

I'm not getting along with my coach because of something, if youre in extention lib can your back spot put his hand under the flyers foot?

    Shannon’s answer:

a back spotter can NOT hold underneath the flyers foot. If the back spotter holds under the foot, that person now becomes an additional base and you are now stunting without a back spotter.
