Ready For A Fresh Start

Hi everybody, I hope you've all been having fun here on weplay. Looks like a lot more people have joined since I was on last hope that keeps up. There's also been a lot going on with me since my last update so let's get cracking.
As you may have heard, I'm now a free agent for the first time in my career. That means I'm looking for a new team to play for next year. But the thing is, that's not bad. It's actually quite common and gives me the chance to explore all of the opportunities out there.
After some great years in Seattle with the Seahawks, I'm looking really forward to being in a new city with new teammates and all that entails.
At this stage in the game, I'm just flying around to meet with various NFL teams. It's actually a pretty cool process. People ask what the meetings are like, whether I get nervous or if it's like a job interview. And you know, it's not really like a regular job interview like your parents might have. With a job interview, you really want to make a good impression to get a job offer.
With my experience, the teams know I can bring something good, too, meaning I've got leverage. So while they want to get to know me, I also want to get a sense for what team best fits my style and my needs.
To me, it is a lot like the college recruiting process all over again. They're trying to impress you and get you to join their team. You know you will end up somewhere good, but you really want to make sure it's the right somewhere for you. So now it is both exciting and stressful at the same time because it's on me to make the right pick. I remember thinking... do I want to pick Alabama or Michigan or Notre Dame? It's like that all over again.
I'll be sure to let you know where I end up just as soon as I know.

What college did you go to??
Cool update Shaun. Good luck and keep us posted on your free agent talks!
