what I do is that when I get up to bowl I will move a board then my usual pattern because when the lanes get dry the ball will not hook as much

What I do is that during the follow through I turn my hand and put a spin on the ball that is how I do it but your USBC coach my have another way to hook the ball.Hope that helps and good look.
