Of course they have their bad days but most of the time when they are bowling, my dad taught to be consistant about how I bowl which does work for most people. Also the fact is that they are professionals.

For me, dryer lanes will have a much greater hook so I start at the opposite end instead of my normal or maybe the second dot. Though if you bowl straight with a house ball, it shouldn't affect much.

1. It relaxes me.
