a day in the big apple

yes yes, it's your boy lebron and i'm back with a bit of a midseason report. hope you're all doing well out there, working hard, playing hard and doing your thing. cold out there, right?
lets do the update first. just got home from a few days away, including last night's game at nyc in the great madison square garden, big win over a tough knicks team, now up to four in a row. gotta keep winning and keep pace with the celtics. last night was a lot of fun, seeing friends and playing on the big stage. people ask all the time about what its like to play there. there's no way you can treat coming to new york, coming to the garden like it's any other game, just because of the history. you know the magnitude of it all. the fans, they love the game of basketball.
we treat every game like it's the most important game, but you can never treat new york like just a regular game. i try to approach every game like it's my last. but I couldn't sit here and say that you know, that you treat the garden like any other game. because of the arena, it's not.
we all know what kobe came in and did there the other day, and it was just an amazing individual performance. when we're in the game, the heat of battle, you're not thinking about records. i promise you. after the game, you know the media, they always say "did you know that you were the first to do this?" well i don't. you never know until the media talks about. on the floor of the game you just out there playing. you just trying to make every play to help your team win the basketball game.
and i think that's a good lesson for everyone no matter what sport you play or how good you are. treat the game, treat your teammates and treat your opponents with respect. ok, gonna go get something to eat and do my best to write some of you back who wrote stuff on my weplay page. be good.

Hey Lebron, You are an inspiration to me and especially my son Joey. He is 12 and wants to be just like you on and off the court. He is small but has amazing dribbling skills. He will have a tough go at it because of his size. any advise? UR Awsome!!!!
