When I found out that Derek Jeters favorite movie was The Shawshank Redemption, I knew I had to see it. So I asked my dad, whose a really big fan of Derek Jeter to, has he ever seen it. My father told me he could see why it was Dereks favorite movie because, it's a movie that takes you on a journey and is captivating. So I watched the movie and I really got into it. A man named Andy Dufresne is convicted of murdering his wife and her lover based on strong circumstantial evidence. He is sentence to two consecutive life sentences, one for each victim. Along the way he meets inmate Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding. During the movie they devolop a great bond and friendship. To see what else happens in the movie, anyone whose a Derek Jeter fan should watch it. It is truly a prodigious movie.
