Hometown – Bloomington, MN

About me – I am a professional hockey player for the St. Louis Blues. I enjoy playing hockey, training, having a good time with buddies, and hanging out with my puppy. I used to golf, but after that little mishap before training camp I decided I didnt want to do anything where I could potentially hurt myself. Hockey is my life and having this past year off was very difficult. I learned a lot being out for the year and grew up a lot as a person. I realized how fortunate I am to have the gifts I do and be able to play the game I love. I can't wait to be back in form right when the season starts and help the St. Louis Blues achieve our goal of winning the Stanley Cup. I will be updating frequently!

Dream job – I am living my dream in the NHL right now! But if I was not so fortunate to have this job I would want to be a Sports Talk Show host.

Superstition – I always put my left skate on first

Players – Growing up it was always Pavel Bure. Now I really like to watch Lidstrom, Chara, and Pronger and how they can control the game.

Teams – Vancouver Canucks when I was growing up. I loved them. Now obviously since I play for the Blues they are my team

Quote – I am a big quote guy. I try and find ones that apply to me and hockey. My all time favorite though is the following: "WORK ETHIC WILL BEAT SKILL IF SKILL DOESN'T WORK HARD" I love that quote because work ethic is such a huge component of anything you do. And no matter how much skill you have you need a GREAT work ethic to be the best.

Movies – Eagle Eye is a recent favorite. But I just saw the Hangover and that was hilarious. I also recently saw Taking of Pelham 123 with Denzel Washington and John Travolta. Those guys were awesome together and it was a great movie

Music – I like all music. My favorites right now are Darius Rucker (former lead singer of Hootie and Blowfish), and Dave Matthews Band. I just saw Dave in concert in St Louis and it was an amazing show.

Video games – Call of Duty for Xbox 360 and NHL 09

TV shows – I am not much of a TV guy. But I enjoy Seinfeld, 48 Hours, Nip Tuck, and Grey's Anatomy,
