Road Trip to the West Coast

We're off to Seattle. Tough flight, but also means more movies. Maybe
even three on the way out. You know how some people can't stop buying
shoes or something? For me, it's movies. I go to Blockbuster and get
them all.
A few of you (like Jennifer P.) have asked about what it's like on the
road. I'm a creature of habit. Usually end up going to the same
restaurants. And, often chicken is involved. Over the last couple
years I've been trying to take advantage of these trips and see the
cities like I should, but it's tough. Games end pretty late.
I also read that Cathy asked about HOPE week. I have to say it was a
great experience. I met some wonderful people and enjoyed spending a
little time with them. I know the entire team was looking forward to
it and felt good afterwards. Definitely would want to do it again next
season. I think every team should.
Nancy C. wrote in wanting to know when I thought women would play pro
baseball. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a woman played in the
minors. Either way, I don't see any reason why she couldn't. I don't
think it makes a difference male or female.
A very perceptive Molly H. noticed I don't chew gum while playing any
more. I'm always amazed what you all notice. Truth is Molly... I kept
biting my tongue.
And, lastly to Nicole... Take care of that ankle sprain and do what the
doctor says to help it heal.

What kind of movies do you tend to watch on the flights? What is your favorite baseball movie of all time?
If a hitter is struggling, does Kevin Long put their at bats together on a dvd for them to watch on the flight?

As for common sense we have NONE! Creatures of Habit can do the most AMAZING things yet simplistic things such as chewing gum without injury escapes us. Let me venture to say this you bite your tongue when you're nervous, the gum is confusing our brain?

I love eating it grilled with no skin and with teriyaki sauce my fave. If you venture out in seattle go to pike street market they have great fresh fruit love there pears. Also i love ivars very good food.

i heard about a woman in japan getting signed to a professional contract also. it wasn't like the "major leagues" of japan just one of the smaller leagues but it's a start :D wonder if she gets her own locker room lol

i luv watching movies on a long trip also :) and when going to resturants my fav. food is chicken parm. :) well anything w- chicken thats all i really like to eat that and cheese and chocolate chip cookies with milk :) or tea lol...

i think its funny how u told nicole to listen to her doctors when correct me if im wrong but u dont like to go to the doctors or do what they say when u get hurt in games. lol
im a huge sports fan especially seattle teams like the mariners and the huskies! so i usally watch there games! i seen u break the hits 4 a shortstop record!! i play competitive softball! ur the only yankee i like!!!! my twin sister cylie is a short stop!

I was at the game at the Stadium on the 25th of Aug. In the right field seats during BP, I caught a ball hit by Hideki Matsui. I thought maybe I could send it to Mr. Matsui to get him to sign it. I was just wondering if it's possible to do that.
