Cathy Sabella to Derek Jeter Sorry it's been awhile since my last post. I am saddened to say that my dad lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on 08/07/2010, after 15 months. He was only 65 yrs. old, but a huge Yankee fan his whole life, born & raised in Brooklyn. He gave me all his yankee memorabilia, and now it is my job to keep that tradition alive. My family & I are staying strong, and remembering the good times.

How is your sister? I know she battled cancer for awhile, but now seems to be doing okay....thank God.

I am attaching a photo of my dad from 2001. This photo is of dad & I on a construction site in metro Atlanta. I spent the day with him. He was a civil engineer.

Jessica Rodriguez to Derek Jeter hey derek I'm here watching the game and honestly I have to say Micheal Kay is starting to get on my nerves. lol b/c he's always talking about Javy and how bad his been pitching and informing us about the things ppl say about Javy's pitching in the papers. and I hate when ppl bash our players but honestly A.J. hasnt pitched any better and it seems like no1 is saying anything about him. And I know ppl probably arent saying anything about AJ b/c he was a Big part of you guys winning the world series last year. But aren't you always saying " last year was last year and this year is this year" so why are ppl always thinking about stuff that happened a year ago? and why are ppl now starting to talk about next year and about new contracts and stuff like that?. i'm like geez ppl there's still like a month and a half left CALM DOWN!! lol That's probably what you are thinking everyday.:-) Well guess that's baseball or is it just NEW YORK?
