    Katie Olger asked:

I am planning a clinic for our middle school girls.. any tips?

    Debbie’s answer:

Ii would also work on basics--motions and jumps. Motion drills can be fun and instructive. Teach jumps from the ground up (no pun intended). Break down the jump parts and work on each.

    Maria Auguste asked:

In 5 months there are cheerleading tryouts and I cant even do a split =/ .I strech everyday but i dont think its working that well. HELP!!!

    Debbie’s answer:

Stretching daily is a great way to increase your flexibility. Lunges, runner's stretch are great exercises. Find a local cheerleader to help you with jumps and motions--the two most basic skills for cheering.
