Coach Chris’ Bio
About Coach Chris
Hometown – Conover, North Carolina
About me – Head Coach for North Carolina's North Durham Little League--2007 State Champs. I have been coaching kids for 11 years. I also coach basketball and soccer. I have coached in Little League, All Star teams and travel ball. I enjoy coaching because I get to spend time with my kids. My father passed away when I was less than two years old. My mother worked two jobs to support her and myself. She wasn’t able to always see me play sports because she was working. My wife Kristy and I want to be involved with our kids. I really try to be a good role model to these kids. There are enough bad role models out there today. I am not the best coach in the world. I put my heart into what I do. I try to learn something everyday to help me help these kids have a positive experience.
Dream job – To be an assistant coach for Roy Williams or a bench coach for Eric Wedge
Superstition – I don’t coach with my cell phone during a game. I give it to my wife. I really don’t have any superstitions I just have a routine.
