“To All of the parents and coaches of the 2011 Dolphins; it has been an outstanding year of nervousness, excitement, bewilderment and true pride in our team. We have overcome adversities to register the first ever undefeated Thalia-Malibu Dolphins tackle football team!!!!! Most of us may never experience this again...... So, cherish the moments. I have been affiliated with the Thalia-Malibu flag/tackle football teams for 6 yrs. now.
I have many many memories of 4 champions, 1 runnerup (that team had the least talent and most heart I've ever seen; losing their first 5 games and still going to the championship game). I must follow what my son-in-law David and myself started when my grandson and his friends were 6 yrs. old. He and I will be following the Independence Middle School team then on to the high school team with many more special memories and moments to come. To me anyone who has my grandson, Wilkes, Beast and Sayeed on their team will be blessed!!!”
