One of the best-kept secrets in baseball is the delayed steal. The success rate should be around 90 percent and the runner does not have to be fast. It causes confusion and oftentimes can be used several times in the same game without a team realizing what is going on.

Charles Sledge A team may be very talented, but if they can't play team defense they will be exploited by a good offense. Good team defense takes practice. Player's must know their role and the objective of each play. Since each play called relies on more than one player for proper execution, timing is essential.
As a coach you want your team prepared for every situation. If you can't throw out a runner stealing bases, then the opposing team will steal all day long. If your team can't field a bunt then you won

          About Author Charles
          Hometown – Pittsburgh, PA.
About me – Director of Youth Programming Author Charles R. Sledge Jr. is author of the very popular and informative book, The Batter's Out (Authorhouse, 2009) His book is one of the most dynamic teaching manual's ever written regarding defensive alignments for nearly every situation in the game of baseball. In a world where sports is the most popular topic of conversation on the Internet, there are multitudes of radio shows that talk about sports. You have heard them. Sports shows hosted by people who love their local teams, but who know little about the actual operations of the sports industry. They talk endlessly without giving the listener any true insight. But at CSPN Sports, we do not simply talk about sports. We ARE sports! http://www.csbnradio.com/battersout/
