Welcome to 2011 Weplayer's! I can't believe how quickly the past year flew by. It seems like just yesterday we were awarding the very first Team Parent of the Week on March 25, 2010. Since then we have honored 29 team parents that have shown they'll do whatever it takes to ensure their team, players and coaches enjoy a memorable youth sports experience.
While Team Parents aren't usually in the spotlight, they're certainly the unsung heros, taking care of logistics and so much more. Weplay's team parents have shown that they can juggle a job, family, multiple teams and more with ease.
That's why we wanted to take a moment to honor our Team Parent of the Week winners from the past year. They are from all parts of the country, and assist with many different sports, but in the end, they are all there to support their team.

We are looking forward to what 2011 has to bring, and we know that there are many team parents that deserve recognition for taking on a role that many could not handle. Each Thursday Weplay honors a team parent, don't let yours go unnoticed, nominate them today!
In this episode of Become we meet Paula. A single mom with 4 kids, Paula manages to hold down multiple jobs and be there for her kids every step of the way. Whether it's her support in sports or in schoolwork, she knows putting in time with her kids is her number one priority and she wouldn't have it any other way.
As long as he does something that’s from the heart that will make him happy, I’ll be good.
