First base side is traditionaly your Home Dugout. check out a MLB game on TV.The cubs are on third but most everyone else is on first.
-
its definatly the third base dugout
-
thats soo wierd, now I'm confused because when I was on JV we were on the third base side, and now I'm on varsity and our home side is on the first base side, I say it could be both but I don't want to mess anyone up, I'll agree with Jennifer and Heidi though, it should definately be the third base side.

the home dugout is which ever one the home team picks i guess. in mlb the dbacks and cubs are on the third base side at their home stadiums but the yankees and redsox are on the first base side in their own stadiums. it doesn't matter.
-
home dugout is usually on the FIRST BASE side
-
It is whatever side the home team wants. It is their Home

Coach Joe is correct.

Neal,
Coach Joe is correct. Traditionally and usually the home dugout is on the 3rd base side, but it's up to the home team to make that decision. Watch some pro games and see for yourself. -
i thought this should be such an easy answer but i was wrong. i watch the red sox and they have their dug out on the first base side. i never really put any thought into it being on the other side .
