Find another team with a better coach. You can also get some private lessons if you have the money.

I wish is was that simple Dave! What help do you need? Are you able to find some video help here on weplay? I like www.sportskool.com too.

    Talk to the coach.

As a coach, I have opened myself up to any parent, player that wants or needs to speak with me, but they don't take advantage of it. I'm baffled by how little they want to say TO my face, ask my advice or voice their opinions. And I'm approachable!!

I am saddened deeply by the coaches that won't help the kids that don't help their team.

Volunteer to help be at the practices and keep asking to help. Make sure you get any and all experience & information that you possibly can so you can be the one to help when & where you need it.

It may take time but perhaps your realization and inability to change things now - will help change things in the future.

Don't give up. Talk to the coach.
