This is nothing more than a challenge to accept and conquer. I knew an athlete who had great promise to be the star of her team. After a good freshman year, she broke her leg and missed her 10th grade season. Meanwhile, a new head coach took over and when she went to try out her Jr year, the coach asked her what position she played. She told him and he said he already had that position covered. Instead of taking on the challenge to prove herself to the coach and her team, she quit. Champions don't consider themselves good player--they strive to be better players.
Remember:
-Show up early and stay late.
-Help set up and clean up.
-Be the first to volunteer for anything
-Always cheer for and encourage your teammates
-Always try to give 110%
-Find your weaknesses and improve them
-Find your strengths and improve them
-Have fun and smile--a positive attitude goes a long way with coaches and teammates. -
you should practice more so the can see your improvment
