The way things are is very hard with our limited income. Any ideas on Teams and/or individuals fundraisers, besides Car Washes and candy sales. Sponsorship now days are also dissapering as the economy is soar. Any body has an idea( or ideas)? Thank you all.

Restaurants!!!!!!!!!! Applebee's is really good with helping. Usually what they do is donate the food, you sell tickets and make lots of money. We have eleven girls, sold 10 tickets ea. and made approx. $1,100.00.

I just found out about a really cool softball related product that players love. It's called Mitt Mates and they just recently started up a fundraising program. You can learn more at www.MittMate.com and I believe there's a free shipping offer with Promo Code: STM017

Our whole team has these Mitt Mates on their gloves and other teams are now starting to use them as a fundraiser. Very easy to do around your local league and at tournaments.

It's summer...what about yard clean up or mowing? My daughter did that when she was on a travel team and we had limited funds. Also, home baked goods. She would bake up some cookies, purchase cake mix, etc. and make treats and packaged them. Then she would ask a local merchant if she could use their sidewalk away from the door for a fund raiser. She would wear her jersey, take a couple of trophies, a card table and ta-ta! She made $$$. Ask for donations of goods from local merchants for a raffle, print your own raffle tickets and send them out into the neighborhood. $1 for 1, $5 for 6 or whatever. Don't forget about local sports celebrities--some folks will pay top dollar to win a personalized item! I sold over $500 worth of raffle tickets for an autographed football from one of our college stars!

A lot of girls' teams buy pre-wrap and resell to their teammates and school friends. We sell it at all of our games. If you can set up at a soccer field on a tournament day, it's a great way to earn some money. Pre-wrap Fundraiser

sell t-shirts representing the school, town/city-community. but again, you need a good printer to give you good prices! in a year, we made nearly 18,000! don't direct it to one sport. that's why it'll sell! one shirt for all sport/town activities? an idea that flourished for us. good luck

There are couple of ways, do what we call tagging, stand out side of your local store and ask for money, if done on an active day you can bring in $1000 for just a few hours worth of work.
Second host a tournament get 8 teams with umps, trophies, sell tee-shirts, consessions and 50/50 rafles you can make $1500 easy.

Do kids today really want to go knocking on doors selling stuff? Parents...do you want your kids spending what little free time they have trying to sell candy bars, food, clothing, and magazines? Keeping only 50% profit is great for the product manufacturers, but horrible for your team. You deserve more for your efforts! www.MySportsDreams.com is used by over 18,000 college, high school, and travel teams because it is so easy for coaches, parents, and players. It literally takes about 20 minutes all online, there's nothing due upfront, and you only pay a fee if your team profits. Before you consider another fundraiser that is going to take precious time away from your family, sports, and school, check out www.MySportsDreams.com.
