The easiest way to do this is with a friend or family member and some long distance passing. Work on two and one touch returns. Loft some, send some about head height, and then some about a foot off the ground. Work on some turns and striking the ball from different angles. Flick a few incoming passes up, juggle for a touch or two, then set your self up for volleys. If you have a good sized wall to kick against, you can do all this one your own.

One way is to strike the ball. That is when you hit the ball with you laces or the top of your foot. This Can be hard for some people and easy for others so I don't know if this will work for you specifically.

Hit the ball with your laces make sure you plant your foot correctly and step over the ball!!

I agree with sarah,the right way to hit it hard and for the most part accurate is with your laces.If you have a wall you can try to pass it against the wall so it comes back realativley fast,and then stop the ball touch it out to whatever side you kick and try to hit the goal.If you do this for a while you will develop foot control until you can name were your going to hit the ball.
