Problem with people who want to join our team's group.

I am a group leader, and I can not add the other memebers who want to join. I receive the email saying "John Doe wants to join the group..." when I go to the group page it only shows 2 past people who have already joined!
Is there a setting or somethin that has changed?

    you click on "my weplay" at the top of the page.
    it should say the number of group requests. ( ex: 1 group request)
    then you can accept or ignore
