Question
How can you eat healthy when you're running kids from school to practice and have no time to cook. Looking for different things I can do so I know my kids are getting proper nutrition.

trail mix or granola/granola bars

Fruit may get a little sticky in the car. I would use some snack style cereal, because a granola bar isn't enough

Thank you for your great ideas but fruit, cereal and trail mix are all healthy snacks. This will hold her off as an afternoon snack. I was more looking for healthy meals. Do busy families not eat dinner Mon - Fridays? I get home from work at 6. We''ve been eating a lot of fast food since this started so I want to change. I tried chicken in a crockpot but we couldn't eat until 8:00 at night (too messy to eat on the way in the car)

That is a little bit more difficult. Defiantly something without to much sauce.....hmmmm and no fast food? What about Pizza? I know it is not toooooooooooo healthy but it is not very messy if you have napkins.

Pasta salad in a to-go container is very versatile and great for on-the-go. It fills you up and there are many different ways to prepare a dish like this. If you want a really healthy pasta salad use whole wheat pasta and add in some chopped veggies and/or chicken. Sometimes it's fun to change up the type of pasta noodle too.
