Should Little League Baseball Players Be Paid?
The Little League World Series is a huge event, should the players be paid some of the money from television commercials? http://tinyurl.com/3g4nh7t

They should get scholarships, which they probably already get, but getting paid is kind of extreme :/

There are a lot of fees involved with little league. As a parent I know it cost a lot of money for my daughter to play on a travel team. $$ goes towards uniforms, team equipment, field rentals, batting cages, pitching coaches, batting coaches. I would not expect Little League to pay my child for playing. She should play for the love of the sport not for the money. It would be nice if the World Series will help with the cost of the team travel expenses. If not then I will chalk it up as a once in a lifetime experience.

no because they only play in the summer and not everybody is not in the team

No they should not because they're just kids, lets them try to get into the mlb and let it stay like that.

NO.......

No kids may join for money and not for the love of the sport

No Kids Should Not Get Paid To Play Little League Baseball Because They Just Play For Fun! NOT FOR THE WORLD TO WATCH THEM ON TV LIKE MAJOR BASEBALL LEAGUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They just play for fun, not to get paid. It is a game that is supposed to be fun, not stressful. No set back, these kids are awesome ball players, just getting payed is pretty extreme.

the first question is who pay them/ second my personal feelings are that tournement teams/ play to play teams and the monies involved in sports is destroying the game/ fewer kids are playing (many can't afford it) and even at the MLB level the game is being taken over by players outside of the country where community ball is still alive and doing well
