    Hi James,

In softball this summer I decided to use part of my practice to make up a few signals together with my team.

I asked what we would need signs for.
I asked what they'd like that signal to be.
We wrote them down and I go over them before every game.

I said that I wanted them to be natural, fun and something they'd remember.

I also have a rule that the sign isn't 'a go' until I do a certain thing (example: touch my nose or clap my hands).

And one last thing - they give me a sign that they see and understand what's going on.

Don't know if it will work with football but it's something to consider.

    Have fun & Be Safr

The Basics- Tap your head, pump your fist, make a big circle, use your feet.....
you need to make it up yourself and then you will have a good chance at remembering it.
